Embarked Fremantle per A50 ‘Itonus’ 19.2.1915 to Suez, Egypt.
Roll Rank Private.
Roll Unit ‘A’ Squadron, 3rd Reinf, 10th Light Horse Regiment.
Watt landed in Egpyt and underwent a period of training. The 10th Light Hose entrained to Alexandria, joined the MEF and embarked for Gallipoli 16.5.1915. Watt developed measles on the second day of the voyage and was transferred to a Fleetsweeper 17.5.1915. He rejoined his Unit in Gallipoli  9.7.1915. Watts was KIA 11.7.1915. He was buried at Point Cemetery, Ari Burnu, Section ‘A’ Row II, D about ½ mile North of Anzac Cove. Gallipoli Peninsula, Cannakkale Province, Turkey.
Final Rank Trooper, 10th light Horse.
Medical Condition Deceased, KIA.
Awards and Medals 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal.
Notes His brother Pte. Charles William Watt (SN 8230) served with the  10th Light Horse Regiment and returned. A brass plaque was unveiled at the Kellerberin Anglican Church to commemorate Watt. (West Australian Newspaper 2.12.1915 p5)
