Embarked Albany per HMAT ‘Port Darwin’ 8.5.1918 for Egypt.

Connolly disembarked at Suez on 7.8.1918. He entrained to Alexandria and embarked with British Expeditionary Force 3.7.1918 for the UK. He disembarked at Southampton 16.7.1918 and marched in to the Army Supply Corps Depot 16.7.1918. He proceeded overseas to France 28.1.1919 and marched into the Abancourt Military Staging Camp, then to the Supply Depot at Calais, France 29.1.1919. His area of service is not recorded, however, he would have spent long periods on the Western Front.
Embarked for return to Australia per ‘City of Exeter’ 12.7.1919.
Returned/Disembarked Fremantle 16.8.1919.
