Embarked Melbourne per  HMAT 'Shropshire' for 11.5.1917 for England.

Colebatch disembarked at Plymouth with the 10th Army Field Artillery, 11th Reinforcement 19.6.1917. After 5 months of intensive training, he proceeded overseas to France from Southampton 17.11.1917. A week later Colebatch was transferred from the 3rd Army Field Artillery to Australian General Base Depot 25.11.1917.
Embarked for Australia per ‘Somali’ as Extra Regimental Lieutenant with 3rd Army Field Artillery.1.6.1919.
Returned/Disembarked Fremantle 8.7.1919.
Discharged 7.8.1919.
Final Rank Extra Regimental Corporal 3rd Army Field Artillery Brigade.
Medical Condition NK.
Awards and Medals British War Medal, Victory Medal.
Notes Colebatch was the son of Sir Harry Pateshall Colebatch, journalist and retired Member of Parliament. By 1946 Colebatch was the Editor and Proprietor of the local paper in Northam.
