Embarked Fremantle per RMS ‘Mongolia’ for Egypt 22.11.1915.
Roll Rank Private.
Roll Unit 3rd Light Horse Brigade, 10th Light Horse Regiment, 12th Reinf.
Roberts disembarked Egypt with the 10th Light Horse. He was admitted to the 3rd Auxiliary Hospital with Tonsillitis 1.2.1916. Roberts was discharged from the 3rd Auxiliary Hospital to Race Course duty 7.3.1916. He transferred to the 4th Div. Artillery 1.4.1916 and was taken on strength 7.4.1916. Roberts transferred to 11th FAB for 3 months at Serapeum 23.5.1916- 23.8.1916. Roberts joined the BEF and embarked for France. He reverted to Gunner at his own request with the 11th Field Artillery Bde. 9.2.1917. Roberts was admitted sick to Hospital 18.6.1918 and was discharged to duty 4.7.1918.
Embarked for Australia per ‘China’ 1.5.1919.
Returned/Disembarked Fremantle 1.6.1919.
Discharged 27.4.1919.
Final Rank Gunner, 41st Battery. AFA.
